“Do this in remembrance of me.” — Luke 22:19
While the world gathers in costume, we gather at the table.
This October 31, Woman Meets Word invites you to an intimate evening created as a Christ-centered alternative to Halloween.
Communion Dinner is more than a night out. It is an invitation to slow down, sit at the table, remember Jesus, and experience His presence in community.
Inspired by The Last Supper, we'll journey through Scripture through an immersive evening of chef-curated dinner, reflection, communion, prayer, worship, and sisterhood.
For a few hours, we will step away from the noise of the world and make room for something sacred.
No costumes.
No distractions.
Just the Table.
🍷 THE TABLE
The evening begins around a beautifully curated table designed to feel intimate, warm, and intentional.
Over dinner, we'll walk through the story of The Last Supper, exploring the moments Jesus shared with His disciples before His crucifixion.
We'll reflect on:
-
What it means to sit at the table with Jesus
-
The significance of Passover
-
The people Jesus chose to gather around Him
-
The humility of Jesus washing His disciples' feet
-
The meaning behind the bread and the cup
-
What it means to remember His sacrifice
-
What we are being invited to surrender
Rather than simply hearing the story, you'll be invited into it.
🕊️ THE LAST SUPPER EXPERIENCE
Throughout the evening, you'll participate in an interactive journey through Scripture.
COME TO THE TABLE
We'll begin by considering one simple question: If Jesus invited you to sit beside Him tonight, what would you want to tell Him?
You'll have a moment to reflect and write your response.
THE BASIN
Inspired by John 13 and Jesus washing the disciples' feet, we'll enter a moment of humility and surrender.
You'll be invited to identify something you're ready to lay down before Jesus—a fear, expectation, disappointment, relationship, burden, habit, or season you're ready to release.
We'll pray over those things together.
THE BREAD
We'll pause to remember Christ's body given for us.
THE CUP
We'll reflect on His blood, His covenant, His sacrifice, and the grace we've received through Him.
And then, together, we'll take communion.
🍽️ DINNER AT THE TABLE
Enjoy a beautifully chef-catered dinner while surrounded by women who are seeking the same thing: More of God.
We'll create space to eat, laugh, reflect, connect, and have meaningful conversations with the women around us.
Because sometimes ministry happens around the table, too.
🎶 WORSHIP + PRAYER
Following communion, we'll transition into an intimate worship experience.
Come as you are.
You don't have to perform.
You don't have to have the right words.
You don't have to have everything figured out.
Just come ready to worship.
We'll close the evening in corporate prayer, praying over the women in the room and the seasons they're entering.
For the woman who is waiting.
For the woman who is grieving.
For the woman who is rebuilding.
For the woman who needs direction.
For the woman who is starting over.
For the woman who simply needs to remember:
God is still with her.

✨ COME TO THE TABLE
Maybe you've had a difficult year.
Maybe you're carrying something you haven't told anyone about.
Maybe you've been praying for an answer.
Maybe you need to surrender control.
Maybe you simply want to spend an evening surrounded by women who love Jesus.
Whatever season you're in, there is room for you at the table.
This October 31, we're choosing something different.
While the world gathers in costume, we'll gather in remembrance.
While the world celebrates fear, we'll celebrate faith.
While the world seeks distraction, we'll seek His presence.
And for one evening, we'll return to the most important invitation of all: Come to the table.
